Movie References

Hey.

I have seen The Matrix movie quite a few times.  The character Morpheus references the work Alice In Wonderland in the beginning of the movie but I never got a feel for that mention until last night.  I saw the 1951 Walt Disney animated move, Alice In Wonderland.  The white rabbit, the rabbit hole...I get it.  The dream world.  Having your own world.  Alice was on a "real" ride throughout the movie, come to find out she was dreaming the whole time.  That dream world was wild and she didn't have too much control over what was happening when she was chasing the white rabbit but she made it through.

The movie was also alluded to in the Kevin Smith flick Dogma which in my opinion was a real good movie.  Matt Damon's character was talking to a nun about the walrus, carpenter, and oysters relating it to Jesus Christ, Christianity/Roman Catholicism, and somehow making the nun lose her faith in an airport terminal.

I had the opportunity to see the one where Johnny Depp starred but I wanted to see the original.  The book was written by Lewis Carol a long time ago.  I may, some day, check out the book and read it.

Worlds, you gotta have at least one or two worlds of your own because dealing in this reality can be tough.

Just sayin'.  Just some talk.

Peace.
